About Me & Fun Facts

Hi! My name is Xiomara (or Xio for short) and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I am first-generation and I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies from UC Santa Cruz, where I was involved with cultural organizations such as LEAD and Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc. Although I intended on going to law school, I found my true passion of working with students and increasing college access for students of color after working for GEAR UP. This led me to pursue a graduate degree in Educational Counseling from USC. Soy Chapina y Mexicana. In my free time I like to explore new restaurants and cities, listen to J Cole, or binge on Netflix!
