If you are a first-generation and/or income-eligible student, what has your experience been like at UCSB?
It has been a challenge trying to navigate my academic and personal life, while also trying to stay on track. With the support of many resources and new opportunities, I am able to find my place on campus.
What would you like to share with students about your experience at UCSB?
Everything will work itself out. Ask questions and make sure to advocate for yourself.

Why did you choose to be an EOP peer mentor?
I really enjoyed connecting with First Year students and being able to provide them the resources needed in order to succeed.
